At Black Sails Tattoo, we specialize in the art of tattooing and take pride in honoring and carrying on the traditions of the past. We love creating custom tattoos that represent our clients' individuality, in a clean, sterile and welcoming environment. Our talented team of artists is experienced in various styles and techniques, including: American Traditional, Japanese, Fine Line, Black Work, and Vintage Inspired tattoos. Our studio is open to everyone, and we promise to provide great customer service and a friendly atmosphere.

After over a decade of incredible memories, we are closing our Tattoo Shop in Tempe, AZ and moving to a private studio, by appointment only. This change allows us to focus more on creating custom work in a private, comfortable setting. Fritz

Originally from Philly and with over 20 years of experience under his belt, Fritz is an expert in fine line American Traditional, Japanese, Black Work, pet portraits, and vintage inspired tattoos. Honoring the past and respecting the traditions of tattooing, Fritz is committed to excellence and always exceeds his clients’ expectations. Never one to sit still, Fritz spends his free time building and racing cars, gardening, and creating beautiful pottery. Fritz has an eye for details and composition and he draws his inspiration from different fields and masters of the past, including one of his favorite: Frank Lloyd Wright. Lolo
Welcome to the world of Lolo, an Italian born tattoo artist with a passion for creating strikingly beautiful vintage inspired tattoos that tell a unique story. Having studied Fine Art in London, Lolo brings a special creative perspective to all her work. She specializes in fine line work, American Traditional, and Black Work style, with her own personal touch of magic. With a keen eye for details and a commitment to designing only the best quality tattoos, Lolo's work really stands out from the rest.
